A CASE
My auntie Lorraine is one of my favourite people, and a fabulous stamper! Recently, she emailed me a photo of a card she made that I desperately wanted to post - however, the last time I tried to post a photo that had been emailed to me (another one o
f her cards), it wasn't seeming to show up on anyone's computer but mine!
So...I decided to CASE her awesome card and post my version!
I stamped the swirl from Baroque Motifs on the Real Red base in Jet Black StazOn. The white panel I sponged with Soft Sky to look like, well, sky!
The flower is made using the Large Oval punch - one Yoyo Yellow sponged with Summer Sun, and 5 Whisper White sponged with Barely Banana. The stem is a piece of Garden Green card stock I punched a curve into with the Large Oval punch, then punched again to get a nice clean looking curved stem.
The ladybug is a black and a red 1-3/8-inch Circle punch and a black 3/4-inch Circle punch for the head. For the red wings, I punched them randomly with my 1/16 and 1/8 punch to create "spots" - it's actually the black body showing through. I drew the antennae on to the Whisper White panel with my Basic Black marker.
The ladybug and flower are popped up on dimensionals! Hope Auntie likes my take on her cute card! :)
ETA: My auntie just let me know (via my cousin) that this card was a CASE of this beautiful card that Faith made and posted on Splitcoast. Just want to give credit where credit is due! :)
